GENERAL INFORMATION FSS 2018
Formula Student Spain 2018 event will be held from Wednesday August 22nd to Sunday August 26th 2018 at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. This year there will be accepted Combustion Vehicles and Electric Vehicles and the competition will be ruled by the FSC Rules for Combustion Vehicles and FSE Rules for Electric Vehicles. Additionally, this year will take place the 1st Edition of Formula Student Spain Driverless.
FSS 2018 will admit a maximum of 75 Registered Teams for the accepted List and a maximum of 20 Registered Teams for the Preference Waiting List. There will be no limit for the Standard Waiting List.
Registration Dates
FSS 2018 REGISTRATION for Combustion and Electric Vehicles will be opened from Tuesday 30th of January, 12:00 CET till Thursday 1st of February, 12:00 CET.
FSS 2018 REGISTRATION for Driverless Vehicles will be opened from Thursday 8th February 2018, 12:00 CET till Friday 9th of February 2018. An Special PRE-REGISTRATION for Driverless Vehicles will be done on Thursday 1st of February by email. Please, all the teams interested in this new category, must send an email to fssdriveless@formulastudent.es showing the project status, previous participations in other competitions and targets for this 2018 event participation.
Registration Fees
The price of the inscription will be 1.800€ (VAT included) (up to 30 team members) There will be Special Registration Fee Discount on the General Fee to the Teams had participated in all the previous Editions (10% of Fee Discount).
Selection Criteria
Registrations forms will be accepted in the order in which they are received. There will be priority for: 1.- Winners from last Editions. 2.- Teams in the list of 2017 Top Ten Overall Finishers and Top Ten World Ranking Teams (www.fs-world.org). 3.- Teams have participated in last Editions of FSS.

Pre-accepted teams:
They will receive a confirmation by email with all the details for the complete payment of the Fee. To confirm the registration, teams have 48 hours to do the payments. If the proof of payment has not arrived within these 48 hours after the email confirmation, registration will be cancelled. The Price of the Registration will not be refunded.
Preference waiting list teams:
They will receive a confirmation by email with all the details, and they must pay 500 EUR in order to confirm their interest. To confirm the interest, teams on the preference waiting list have 2 days to do the payment. If the proof of payment has not arrived within 48 hours after the email confirmation, pre-registration will be cancelled (if your team is in the preference waiting list, does the payment, and finally it’s not possible to be accepted at FSS 2018, the 500 EUR will be returned).
